    I'm generally not a fan of symphonic metal, though the fact that nearly their entire discography is on rock band network has me curious... are Amberian Dawn any good?

    I remember giving River of Tuoni a shot and I haven't really looked back at it. This is coming from somebody who likes Nightwish.

    They're good, but not great. Nothing really wrong with them, just they don't stand out for the most part - that being said, their most recent album (End Of Eden) is pretty solid. They seem to be one of those bands that has, so far, improved with each release (meaning yes, River of Tuoni is their worst).

    I keep seeing bands I like has Joel Grind in it...so um yeah...Toxic Holocaust?

    I don't care for them at all, but if you're on the fence, then give an album a shot.

    If they're enough like Epica, I'll probably like them enough.

    Another single-band question; Ween. Good, or boring? I've heard both. I would normally just listen, but I've found myself with less free time lately.
