    Anyone like spoken word?

I really would like something humorous, preferably about serious topics. Similar to Jello Biafra; humorous, sarcastic views on serious problems.

good thread, for spoken word I'd recomend henry rollins, almost comedy but more...intellectual and pissed off I guess.

I'm a fan of classic rock, stoner rock and metal (can't stand growlers/screamers)
Looking for any recommendations, like trippy lyrics and a good singer.

I just heard a band yesterday that's female led, not sure if I would say they are punk, they compare themself to radiohead meets flyleaf. Which isn't a bad comparison, just wish they had a bit more of a radiohead vibe. The band is Vertigo and they are from morristown tn (like 15 minutes away from me). Here is a link to their myspace. http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm...endID=23629319
