Even though it's not quite the same I often find myself listening to Stoner Witch by the Melvins or Blood of the Tyrant (self-titled EP) after I listen to Static Tensions. BotT is closer (especially "Helena"), but is closer to Mastodon than it is to Kylesa. It's hard to get quite the same sound as a band that uses three vocalists and two drummers (especially in terms of the rhythmic power and trade-offs that Kylesa does with dual-drummers).

Definitely going to check that out and Damad sounds interesting, I'm always up for some depressive music.

Any reccomendations for horror punk bands similar to The misfits?

Anyone know of any good Vicki Carr songs you know of (other than Silencers) that i could check out? I really like the stuff like The Silencer with the whole 60's spy manhattan lounge vibe. I don't mind if it's her Spanish stuff either, i just don't have the time to dedicate to go through her disco. I just love her voice is all.
