    They're all better (except GIAA, but you may really dig them) than the two bands you listed.

    heck, i like Godspeed more than The Appleseed Cast and Mono but they are in NO WAY similar to Explosions In The Sky or Moving Mountains, just saying

    i like GIAA and Mogwai too don't get me wrong, i don't really rank the likeness of post rock, except sigur ros, explosions and godspeed will always be 1, 2, 3 for me

    i never said they were better, i said i like them more.

    Explosions and Sigur Ros were the 2 post rock bands i heard at first, i will always like them more. that doesn't mean that they are better

    The whole I like X band more but Y band is better train of thought has never made sense to me.
