    I'm more emotionally invested in this and Pinkerton, there two albums that no matter how many times I listen to just fell like they where made for me

    well I wouldn't call it Converge's St. Anger because it's widely regarded as one of the best metalcore/hardcore records of all time and is praised by a lot of people (outside of the forum) and IMO it's FAR from their weakest effort

    but again, people like different things, I just think St. Anger is more universally hated

    You're right, Jane Doe is pretty well praised. Which makes a whole lot of people totally wrong.

    I like Catharsis. And I like Converge instrumentally. But dude, the vocals kill everything. Which makes the album totally awful because it totally ruins what could have been very good.

    I also like Burst, Darkest Hour, Starkweather, Dillinger Escape Plan, Cave In, and Zao, while we're on that subject.
