    Nine Inch Nails

So, I used to listen to The Fragile a lot when I was younger. Love "Left".."Right" not so much but there are a few songs on there I liked..

Anyway it was the only NIN cd I've heard until today (went and bought With Teeth..like it a lot)

So, where do I go next?

You can name one or two or name what order to get however many albums. Somewhat of an explanation or brief case for the CD you recommend would be greatly appreciated.

    Ah, here we go.

I would start with Pretty Hate Machine and Broken. Avoid the Downward Spiral for now, as much of an amazing album it is you'll have to get used to NIN's sound first before tackling that one.

I really, really enjoy the music on the Pspyched! compilation, particularly the instrumentals that open it. I'm intimately familiar with Tones On Tail (and Bauhaus and Love & Rockets, and Daniel and David's solo works), and I've more than a nodding familiarity with the Icicle Works, but I don't know much else about the other artists on the compilation, nor even really how to classify the genre. I could see this music relating to the Stone Roses or maybe even certain Ween tracks, but I don't know what I don't know, ya know? Any suggestions for psychedelia that sounds like this (the Darkside track that opens the album I linked above)?

Richard D. James Album was fantastic. What else by Aphex Twin is worth checking out, and/or what other artists are similar to Aphex Twin?

Also, are the Dirty Projectors any good?

For something similar to Aphex Twin check out Squarepusher, μ-Ziq, and Autechre.
