^ Have you ever gave Pantera's Far Beyond Driven a listen? It's quite heavy and has some screaming.

It's hard to take someone seriously when they say "anything but..."

If that's directed to me - I think it's legitimate to say.
Not saying I like every song in all genres but one, but I like a large majority of what each genre puts out. If there is some genre that I am not aware of (and Im sure there are hundreds of sub-genres I'm not aware of) then that falls under "unheard of" which I consider differently than liking or disliking, since I haven't personally been able to experience it. Does it mean I like ALL GENRES if I dont know of ALL of them well no not necessarily, but it's also a figure of speech more.
@ROCKBANDFANATIC7526,
Haha Pantera. Damn what energy they have. Although they are cool, it's not exactly what I'm looking for. Like I said, something less on the screaming side, more on the singing side. I'm more thinking along the lines of, a little screaming is ok if it's there, but should be mostly melodic. If no screaming is there, that's perfectly ok. Although I will admit, Pantera did know how to shred haha. Not exactly what I'm lookin for though.

Liquid Tension Experiment DLC would rock.

That's fine, I don't like lastfm's suggestions.

Guess I'll give this a shot.
I'm trying to find some stuff similar to Blackmore's Night, haven't fared altogether well with following any of the "similar band" listing site dealies.
Moreso the uh, bouncier stuff of theirs, then the acoustic instrumentals and purist folk tunes.
