ITT: The VERY best Metallica covers you will ever hear

You may be thinking I'm exaggerating. Not in the slightest.

    I give you... METALLUST!

I discovered these guys 2 years ago while browsing Metallica videos on YT and I thought they were astounding. Even the vocals, which I thought could never be accurate enough to Hetfield himself, sounded great (and in some videos, spot-freaking-on!).

As a huge Metallica fan and appreciator of fine talent, I feel it is my duty to give these a little more publicity:

    No Leaf Clover
    Seek and Destroy
    ...And Justice For All Medley

If you can ignore the singer's sometimes very apparent accent, these are some amazing covers.

Here's hoping I reach out to at least a few! Enjoy!
8/9/11 (Def Leppard) will be marked as the best day in RB history for me. HMX, major thanks for all this amazing DLC you put out!

HA YES! Van Canto does the best metal covers ever, at least until the all kazoo metal band comes out. I'm sure that's next.

I love Van Canto's version. The video is campy, probably intentionally so, but the song by itself is effectively done. I still say Van Canto's lead singer succesfully out-Hetfields Hetfield.

    And then there's this group.
It's all right. Everything will work out fine.
It's all right. We're going to the end of the line!

Looking forward to those all-kazoo metal bands covering metal songs. As well as Blackened Barbershop Metal.
Bands I'd love to see as DLC for Rock Band:

    Bathory []
    Bal Sagoth []
    Amorphis []
    Emperor [X]
    Enslaved []
