    OFFICIAl Request Thread for X

X was a punk-rock band from Los Angeles. Already were in GH80's.

i'd love to have some X...
i'd especially be pleased if we got a mix of their early stuff and then some songs like "4th of july" and "see how we are".

A big yes to "X"! I just saw them at Club Nokia on 12/20. Still as awesome as ever!

We have X in the game now, and I better see some appreciation here instead of the whiny *****ing on the DLC thread! If you haven't heard of them, LOOK THEM UP ON THE INTERNETS. They've only been putting out records since 1980.

Thank you Harmonix! Would also love to see more Damned and Buzz****s while we're at it.

Exclamation Apologies for the massive bump

I'm a huge fan of X, and I can't overstate how amazing it would be to have more of their music in Rock Band. The four songs already offered are some of my personal favorites in the entire game. They're not too hard, but just fun. Now that we have harmonies, it seems like a waste NOT to have more X. The often requested White Girl, 4th Of July, and Wild Thing would all be amazing additions, but here's some more songs that haven't been brought up:

Burning House Of Love (although not classic X, Billy Zoom's guitar really shines here)
Devil Doll (at 5:06, a staple of the band's since its release and one of their most energetic song)
The Unheard Music (great organ work by Ray Manzarek of The Doors, and some really haunting harmonies)
Sugarlight (great early punk guitar work, and would be amazing on pro drums)

Also, I haven't seen many requests for X's country alter-ego The Knitters on the forums. Tell me Call Of The Wreckin' Ball wouldn't be awesome!

Anyone try getting in touch with them for the RBN? I know the majority of their stuff's on Warner, but at the very least we could see about getting some songs from Hey Zeus! or some solo work?

We need more X for sure, a mix of songs from a bunch of their albums would be awesome.

"Johnny Hit and Run Paulene" would be fantastic for harmonies, that along with "Hot House", "Make the Music Go Bang", "Nausea" and "Universal Corner" are my most wanted songs at the moment.
