Well, I am old and thus, old style. I don't even own an i-pod... What I do have is a 400 disc CD player that I often play on random. Its like the best radio station ever, no comercials and only songs that I like.
Pushing 50 and still rockin' like a teen, only now I can afford it and it takes longer to recover.

When I'm driving, yes. The last 10 songs played on my trip to work this morning, in reverse order.

Angtoria - God has a plan for us all
Dr Dre - Forgot about Dre
Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - Weapon of Choice
    Elastica - Connection
Acid House Kings - Say Yes if you Love Me
    Porcupine Tree - Anesthetize
My Teenage Stride - Skin Lieutenant
    Christopher Cross - Sailing
    Utada - Devil Inside
Dinosaur Jr - Show me the Way

I call this the "WENG, the perfect radio station for perfect people"
Does anyone chart anymore? le sigh.

Sometimes, but I often find myself not finding a good random song. That's when I'll listen to an entire album. In fact, I've been doing that a lot lately. One recent random example is the Broadway cast recording of Les Miserables!

J/K, it was a good album.

Rarely do I use shuffle. I don't want to go from Pat Metheny to Burning Witch to Femi Kuti to Led Zeppelin. That doesn't work...

If I can't pick a song to listen to, then I will.
    a21:i broke my g-string fingering A minor
Fogey:C why you shouldn't Bdim. Rather B+. Now that would B#. Was it Ab min? Did you take her back to Db?

The only ipod I have is a shuffle that I use in the car sometimes. Occasionally I throw it on shuffle, but usually just straight through the albums.

At home, I have a single disc CD player and a turntable. I do probably 90% of listening with the 'table. Tough to shuffle unless you want to get up and change records ever 3.5 minutes.

All the time. Usually I listen to single songs on random but occasionally I'll use the folder shuffle feature in foobar to listen to random albums.

Occasionally but I normally listen to an album in its entirety especially if its a concept album or live album.
