Off the poll, Reign In Blood. But Maiden's Piece Of Mind or Powerslave would be the ultimate metal album. Number Of The Beast, while good, is quite overrated.
Out of the list, I'd say "Peace Sells...", but I've got kind of a soft spot for Judas Priest's "Sad Wings of Destiny", and "Stained Class" is another one worth mentioning.

I can't vote, I'm so torn between so many albums. Ride The Lightning, Number of the Beast, Paranoid, there are tons of classic albums that contributed to developing metal.

I chose Number of the Beast only because I remember listening to it over and over. Is it really better or best? No...and I don't think that answer can be determined.
