Default Roy Orbison DLC - Confirmed in thread by HMXSean

I was watching VH1 Classic this afternoon and caught the end of a Roy Orbison concert. In the bottom right corner of the screen, where the ad for Rock Band sometimes pops up, I noticed something different. Instead of the regular ad, there was a plug for a 6-pack of Roy Orbison DLC. Did anyone else see this, or is it just me?

Think "Oh Pretty Woman"... though he had some other great songs also.

If this is true, I'm a very happy person.

I /really/ hope this is true. Not only would Roy be our first rockabilly DLC (it's about time!), but it's Roy Orbison! The man is a bonafide music legend.

I do actually recall Steven Van Zandt (Rock Band's music director; former guitarist for Bruce Springsteen) mentioning in a Rolling Stone article that he was trying to get some of Roy's and Bruce's music into the game, so this rumor does hold a shred of weight to its name.

That'd be outstanding. And with Dylan, Orbison, and Harrison (eventually) in the fold, we'd be one step closer to some Wilburys.

Wow, cool. Is it the little rectangular one that usually shows a bunch of album art from songs in RB2? Did they only show it during the concert or during other programs as well? I used to see the AC/DC ads during other shows like All Time Top Ten but very rarely outside of the Donnington concert that they used to constantly show.

If true then what a nice step for Rock Band in terms of expanding its different time periods.

Holy hell Silvio Dante is working with HMX!? That's a new one.

edit: Also I hope "You Got It" is one of the tracks.
