The Old Man Band (Players Over 30)

Any one else playing Rock Band 2 on the Wii that's around 30 or so? If so, let's start the Old Man Band (sorry, youngins!). I play all instruments on hard/expert, but generally drum. I'd rather play for fun than any sort of competition. Want in? Just drop me a PM and let's get to rocking.

I cannot seem to find answer to this in FAQ. Perhaps someone here knows...

Does the RB3 game prevent players from playing together online if they both are playing the same instrument?
I play "ProDrums" (H/X) on my Roland Kit using a MidiRockerLX interface by bytearts.com.

Players can play online together but there are only 4 spots available so no they can't play the same instrument (with the exception of guitar and bass, or guitar/bass and keys).

It says you can play with up to 7 at once but many of us have found that isn't possible. You can set up dual vox but they have to be at the same location/console only.

Alfredc - I wouldn't worry about difficulty with this group. I don't know any OMB member who won't play with someone who wants to play on a different difficulty level. OMB members are more concerned about playing with good, reliable players who want to have fun.

I cannot express in mere words how accurate this statement is.

    Ditto here.

BTW - enjoyed playing a round or two with Robotmom and Lexus. Sorry about "Radar Love" Lexi. I haven't mastered expert on bass and it almost got away from me toward the end there.

Has anyone else noticed that if you play online with someone who is using a higher difficulty level, your "highway" runs slower than if you are just playing by yourself? I tried using the individual track speed option and that just seemed to slow it down even more. Just wondering if anyone else had the same (similar?) experience.

I'm down for an Old Man Band. I mean I don't consider myself old yet, but I am over 30. I play any instrument medium while I'm learning the songs, though I can sing on hard or expert if I know the song well. I'll send you a pm now.
