What Chubb said. Anyone who pulls the "expert or GTFO" crap with me will be summarily ignored.

Fragbert - Sorry about earlier! I have been having major issues with my mics on RB3 and today was the icing on the cake. I did finally get it fixed, but had to reset the Wii completely. (This was after Lexus had issues as well) Never have issues with any other game, just RB3. Between Lexus and I, I think we ran quite a gambit of technical issues tonight. Ugh!! Anyway, just wanted you to know it was hardware issues and not me being a flake/dork or anything.

Anyway, even though it's a bit slow on the joining/loading, it seems that I CAN play online with no issues other than slowness, so woohoo for that!! Had a blast tonight with Lexus, and hope to get a chance to play with the rest of you peeps (minus all technical faux pas).

Hey, no sweat. Not too long after we all dropped out, MY Wii locked up. Boo, I say. And I was loving the song choices we were all making too. Next time for sure.

Does the RB3 game prevent players from playing together online if they both are playing the same instrument?
Players can play online together but there are only 4 spots available so no they can't play the same instrument (with the exception of guitar and bass, or guitar/bass and keys).

It says you can play with up to 7 at once but many of us have found that isn't possible. You can set up dual vox but they have to be at the same location/console only.

Alfredc - I wouldn't worry about difficulty with this group. I don't know any OMB member who won't play with someone who wants to play on a different difficulty level. OMB members are more concerned about playing with good, reliable players who want to have fun.

I cannot express in mere words how accurate this statement is.

    Ditto here.

BTW - enjoyed playing a round or two with Robotmom and Lexus. Sorry about "Radar Love" Lexi. I haven't mastered expert on bass and it almost got away from me toward the end there.

Has anyone else noticed that if you play online with someone who is using a higher difficulty level, your "highway" runs slower than if you are just playing by yourself? I tried using the individual track speed option and that just seemed to slow it down even more. Just wondering if anyone else had the same (similar?) experience.

    Thank you rockinrollers!

ChubChubb, I was struggling with "Radar Love" as well. I think you saved me twice.

Playing with people I've met here is very enjoyable! I call it "jammin' for joy without judgement"
I play "ProDrums" (H/X) on my Roland Kit using a MidiRockerLX interface by bytearts.com.

Chubb, I consider myself a bass master and Radar Love STILL gets away from me more often than not. And we won't even talk about Yes or Primus.

Amen to that. Although I grew up with Yes, I am hesitant to tackle any of Squire's bass lines. I'm not even interested in Primus or Phish. Ugh.
