I'm slogging my way thru Pro Guitar/Pro Bass. (Currently M on Pro G and H/X on Pro B)

But when I am playing Pro -the song MUST have Pro Guitar support, and ...
you need the Pro Guitar Upgrade for DLC
(All RB3 on-disc songs have it)

(To know if someone is on PRO:
Look for the little "PRO" under the guitar icon on the Song Select screen -- or watch me flip wildly on the Instrument select screen)
((I'd LOVE for u 2 buy the $0.99 pro upgrade ... but understand the money-suck)


So if I keep deleting songs from the Setlist, nothing personal.
Not saying u have bad taste.

Finally hooked up with paigepc. Had a great time jamming with you. BTW, you'll love the cymbals on your kit.

Dress2kill great job on base. That was my youngest daughter singing with us. (easy on the song selections though, we like to keep it to 2 songs each ) Remember, old people can't think past 4-6.

DALRNxx had a great time again.

Finally got a full band going with jmk, rockinrollers, and amys and then AT&T decided to do line maintenance at 1 am and I lost all connections for the night. Oh, well. Til next time.

I don't see myself adding pro guitar,just not good for me from an economic standpoint.No use buying a guitar I already own,and I think I'm a little past beginner guitar so it's not really going to teach me chords or anything I don't already know.Might be easier if you just keep track of who has the pro stuff and invite them when you want to play pro and pick up the plastic if you feel like doing that.Maybe try vocals with non-pro players,seems we have a shortage of them here.

I'm going to get a USB extension,that way I can talk from my living room. I do miss my basement though,I've got to figure out something for that.

Yeah, I was pretty ticked off. After all of the joining issues (thank goodness for skype) we finally got together and then.... how does it go? KAPUT!!

Welcome aboard. Basically, you will have to exchange your 16 digit Wii friend/console code with other players to play with them. First, you have to do is pull the console code off of your Wii and post it here in the OMB forum. Take the Wii code listed by other players ancd enter it into your machine. I would send a pm to the player letting him/her know that you have "added them." Once the other player adds your code to his/her Wii friend list he/she will show up in the online friends list on RB3.

By the way, you can't get to the Wii friend code from within RB3. You have to enter codes from the mail part of the Wii console screen. From the main screen, click on the mail icon in lower left corner of the screen. After that, click on "create message" on the lower left side of the screen. When you do, you should see the white "address book" icon on your screen. Click on that. When you do, you'll see your Wii friend/console code. If you click the "register" button, it will allow you to add other players' wii codes. I hope that helps.

Just to make sure I'm understood -

you do NOT need a Pro Guitar to play with someone else who is playing Pro.
You just need the $0.99 upgrade on the DLC track.

Yeah, it's still poor economically and strategically.
But at least it's $1 for everyone else to play along and not $300

No, you understand me correctly.

Are you sure you're not playing with the Pro Guitar players on songs from the RB3 disc, not DLC (Down Loaded Content)?

In other words -- You play DLC songs with Pro Guitar players online, even though you don't have the upgrade?

That would be awesome!
I hope that can be done ... somehow.
