Taking your SD card to a friends house

    Anyone know of this issue?

So I download all my DLC to my SD card, I went to a friends house with my copy of rockband 2. We were all excited to play the game, I put it in and my DLC is no where to be found. I searched everywhere on the card and it was showing it was there, but it would not play or link to the game on their Wii. Somehow the DLC is linked to my Wii only.

Anyone know a way around this? Kinda dumb that you can't take your SD card tosomeone else's house and play it, I mean you did BUY the songs!

Don't believe it works like that. It's tied to your wii. Now if you brought your console to your friends house...Much bigger than an SD card, but still pretty portable.

Johnny's right - the DLC you purchased is tied to your Wii console.

The vote is now over. Rockergirl tied for 2nd and was a runner-up.

My Suzi only got 3 votes... LOL!
I don't think my pics did her justice.

Can someone explain to me the appeal of BYOB and Toxicity?
I fired up the music store today, figuring they were auto-buys because they are always in like the top 25 songs sold in rock band dlc... listened to the previews for each, and came up with a big 'meh', and didn't buy them.
    What's the appeal?
Instead I bought Take it on the Run, Renegade, and Teenage Lobotomy.

This is actually pretty sad... I fire up RB to buy songs... then shut it down without even playing them. (house being painted next week = oodles of chores/prep for me to do)

If you find those songs to be "meh" then I don't think I can explain them to you. SoaD has a sound that I just blows me away, Disturbed as well. Honestly I can't tell you what it is, but to me just about everything System of a Down has put out is just phenominal. (I can't say the same for their lead singer's solo album, though.) There was just no way I wouldn't buy those songs.
