So I went back and looked at my original post about the connection problems. I believe the DMZ solution is helpful but not critical - whereas I still believe my solution is the one to go with. In fact, the thread that my post referred to (below) actually states that many people continue to experience problems even after entering their mac addresses into the DMZ.

I was online with SueBee's band last night and they were having these same issues. Not everyone had done the DMZ issue but I was the only Vox that was able to enter their session (while one guy in particular was present). No one else could enter (including Hamster, because she probably hasn't deployed my fix yet) when this guy Robert was in the lobby - except for good ole Bazoozoo! I rawk!!! Yes!!

    lol....

So my advice to you guys is do this... and do it NOW!

If someone actually bailed on you I really hope it wasn't someone from this thread. I think that's part of the deal for folks here, we won't bail on you during a set (at least not without a really, really good reason like the kids getting into big trouble or something). Disconnects are another story, though. Thankfully I think my problems on that front have been resolved now, but even so they do happen. There's no guarantees on these here inter-tubes.

Especically good to go considering that you have backups already happening on your computer regularly.

You do have backups on your computer regularly, don't you?
This post was in response to Honey Bee's question about backing up her data. I got the impression she was talking about game data, not DLC.

I just read this post and it seems we can't back up our game data:
    http://www.rockband.com/forums/showt...ight=back+data

I was playing with a guy on Thursday night who lost all his career data (but not his DLC). It seems to be so common.

Are any of you actually able to save your game data? When I go to the Rock Band game file (in the Wii settings menu) both the "Move" and "Copy" buttons are greyed out. It would've been nice if they weren't because then it'd be so easy to move my data to an SD card for backup.

Damn that would be a bummer..... I move all dlc immediately never thought about game data
if you have a pc with a card reader just copy the whole private folder
and on a more pleasant note

Oh no, "say it ain't so Joe." That was what I was referring to. The game data. Even if I lost the DCL, I can easily buy them again, but the game data... all those hours put in There must be a way...

BTW- thanks for everyone here who stops my by live stream and chat site on my band's website. It really is fun to have you all there to hang out with. Also, let's you know what I'm up to. I can rarely accept invites anymore, but if you send me an invite and are open to jamming with a band, if I can, I will send you an invite back to jam with us. Finally, thanks to SueBee, we have our own domain, so the present web address will be changing soon. I'll let you know in my signature the new web address when it finally updates. (I'm not a computer person, but I don't think that the custom domain and the free website domain can exist simultaneously?) See you all later. It's supposed to rain today- another great reason to stay in doors and jam!

Edit: New website is active now- woohoo: www.SweetLittleHoneyBees.com
