Sorry ,Z I only had time for one set and I figured I would really give you the full on vocal test! Sorry for tanking on that Steally Dan song Man I don't know why I had such a hard time with that, whew thanks for the help. That first Zildgian mystery setlist was not really my cup of tea. So I am glad we got to do some make your own setlist stuff, man If you and I could practice just a little more I believe we can gold star Carrry on Wayward son. That was the highest duo score I have ever had and I missed several sections at the end because I started looking at the score , that is a really cool vocal showcase for you. Well done! I accedintelly deleted you from my friends list so I sent another request.

Hey megatron, one request. When you pick a single song would you let it just play a few bars for me first (it helps me to get the tune and key into my head which can be pretty helpful at times), and when picking a set list just give me maybe 15 extra seconds, if that, to check it out. Just a quick pause, really. I got so lost on what we were doing on that 3 song setlist you picked that I completely lost count on those songs of where I should have been trying to kick in OD. Just a few extra seconds, not a lot, will give me a chance to glance through my cheat sheet so I'll know where I'm at.

Ennis, yeah, I think Carry On My Wayward son is a pretty easy song, really, at least for me on vocals. Luckily I like it so I don't mind singing it over and over, since it does seem to come up quite often. Most of the time if you see me get a 99% on a song it means I'm probably beating on myself for not getting 100% on it! Most of the ones I wasn't getting fully were songs I should never have gotten lestt ahn 100% on. Like Cool for cats. There is just the ver end of one phrase where I just sometimes go for the wrong note when I really know better. Of course that's knid of the problem, I'm so convinced I should just get 100% that I I just play along with singing it and sometimes forget that I need to watch what the heck I'm doing there since that one phrase is just ever so slightly different from what I expect. I hate when I miss it. It was fun, though! And you just missed the session with megatron. Not sure who DJDam (I think that was the name) was, but he was doing might good on expert guitar. I kind of felt like I let them down some with my inept OD timing.

And no problems on the stuff folks run into issues with. It happens and doing the save thing or trying to time kicking some overdrive to prevent someone from going into fail to begin with can be a lot of fun in its own right. I'm glad we got through it, though, because that song doesn't leave a whole lot of opportunity for the vocalist to do much saving.

yeah, sorry about that. I'd rather not be the leader (hence my continuous use of "random song"). Once everyone else was out I thought you might want to take over those chores.

To be honest, I hate being leader too. I'd much rather just do everyone else's stuff. Even when they make me sing Alabama Getaway. Yuck.

So tonight was my first gig with Friends of the Family and what's the first song they make me do? My utter nemesis, Rob the Prez-O-Dent, then followed by Master Exploder! (Although I got a 99% on it this time!) Then a set of some of the harder vocal songs in the game (other than Chop Suey, which I can usually ace every time.) And then we did the Battle where Rob the Prez-O-Dent crops up gain! Talk about a work out!

Sorry about failing out on that one Paramour song. Thanks, whoever saved me. I got a phone call from the office and was practicaly trying to sing my responses to them. Anyone else I would have let the answering machine get it. Ah well, at least I was able to get back on so we could keep going. Thanks for the session, it was lots of fun!
