Not al of us OMB'ers have all the Boston stuff. At least not yet. I have all of that silly crazy devil tier stuff and a bunch of Country songs as well. I even have a Spongebob song and it is actually pretty fun to play. Kind of like a Dick Dale song. And I hear that we will be getting my favorite

The Reverend Horton Heat is coming to RBN and it won't be long before it hits the Store! I can't wait!

It's funny, "Hitch a Ride" is just ok for me, as a song to listen to, not one of my favorites, but it is very fun to play. I think "Peace of Mind" is my favorite to listen to, but "Rock and Roll Band" is the best to play, Smokin' is also very good.

Creeps, you never accept my invites, or invite me back, or something... I'm never sure if I'm following the proper invite protocol. I usually just invite the other people I see playing online, wait around for a minute or so, and then go play and wait for counter-invites.

Rockinrollers I tried to add your FC and it said invalid code. You sure that FC in your sig is correct?

Jammer's getting "the twinkie song" lol yay!

Anybody playing tonight? Might be fun to give a run at that Classic Rock battle.I think the only dlc song is the Steve Miller.

What happened to you last night C? I was looking forward to the songs we have in common and it's been a while for Stonehendge to rear it's funny little head. Some other time?

I got your invites John but I was subbing in some bands and came across the bass player from the Beatles thing I did a while back.I don't have him as a friend on RB2 so I didn't want to abandon him as we were in the middle of a Who marathon.

Hey no problem Jammer, we can always play another time. I will be online tonite playing too.

Mark, yeah the FC in my sig is definitely correct?? I'll try adding you tonight and see what it says.

I saw Boston a couple years ago and unfortunately it was only Tom Sholtz and one other original... but they were awesome! The lead singer could hit all the high notes just like Brad Delp!!

Hated to bail on you, Jammer, but I was having technical difficulties with my drum kit. I'm hoping to get that all ironed out this evening and be online into the night tonight.

No problem, yeah my wife has girls night. So I'm grabbing some beers and rocking out this evening.

I've been just randoming all songs lately in quickplay on expert.Good fun and great practice but I have a question for you guitar heroes...How often do you alt/strum?I've been working on it and I definitely notice the difference on some songs with constant strums like PDA,Tangled up In Blue,etc..but what about solos and things like that.Do you only do it when it's physically impossible to downstrum that fast or do you do it all the time because I definitely think that's the key to improving my skill.

Mark, sorry if I haven't responded to your invites. If I am on with someone and not the host I won't bail to check invites. I will look for you tonight to see if you are on and send an invite. I will also be on tonight so I am free for a run on the classic rock battle for bass or guitar with anyone who would like the help.

Jammer I do both. If there are a lot of chord changes I will usually downstrum. But, if there is a pretty consistant pattern or run I will alt strum. Especially when it gets faster than quarter notes. Then it is usually alt strum as much as possible. Some peeps alt strum all of the time. I just didn't really learn that way. It really comes down to personal preference, ability and necessity for each song. The more you do alt strum though, the easier it gets to do.

I agree with Mike. If you can get in the practice of alt strumming a lot it will help in the long run. esp with the impossible songs. Unfortunately, I never did when I started and still don't do it that well these days.

I downstrum all of PDA and even Everlong, but def alt-strum things like Tangled Up, Pinball Wizard, Girls Not Grey, and solo's like Let There Be Rock, Teenage Riot, etc.

If you can alt strum you are probably better off in the long run.
