It sure is. I passed it on Hard for the first time yesterday morning and happened to have the day free, so.... I'm shiny now. It still took me a half dozen cracks to find the tempo in the noise and put that so-called "song" down like the dog it is. After beating that nightmare Panic Attack and Painkiller felt (almost) like cakewalks. I maintain that the key to the ESL for old farts like us is to play the first 30 or 40 as lazily as you possibly can. I wanted to get as many 5*s as possible, but once I hit 5* on a lot of songs I'd slack back to only hitting kick and red, or only playing the beat at half speed, or cutting whatever else I could cut and still pass. Other than that trick I think I took only 2 short bathroom breaks and one long dinner break.
Alek, we've got 21 DLC in common not counting the free ones, so that's not bad. I just added you. You can find my FC and DLC list at http://dlcquickplay.com/user/cwilbur
Oh, and BTW, the ESL doesn't take 18 hours - it's right around 6 hours 15 minutes if you don't take breaks and don't fail. You could stop in the middle, sleep all night, get up and finish in the morning and finish in less than 18 hours![]()
