Yeah, that part's messing with me. It's actually BBBBRRB. If it was 5 B's to start, it'd be easier. Chris (SSPU drummer) is a open-handed style lefty and does lots of crossovers so his drumming often doesn't fit the usual patterns. He usually hits the crash with his left hand for one thing.
How I'm doing it right now is a bit messy. I am not that comfortable starting rolls with my left hand, so I've been starting it with my right, not even playing the 4th blue, and then I hit R-L-R on the RRB at the end. So yeah, my pattern is R-L-R-skip-R-L-R. I break my streak constantly, but I survive.
I want to do it this way though: start with left hand on tom roll, double tap the snare with my left hand, and then use right to hit the last blue. Just have to get the hang of starting off with the left, which I do already in certain songs, but it feels weird here for some reason. That will be L-R-L-R-L-L-R.
Check out the last 30 seconds of panic switch for some really messed up sticking.
