From my limited experience, I can't except an invite whether I'm the leader or not. Only send them. I think that's how it works. If you get an invite and you already have someone in session with you, you have to decline and invite them in.

I played guitar in a high school garage band and some in early college. Unfortunately, with the time constraints of law school, I had to basically put it aside while I was there. Between working, getting married and raising a family, I really haven't played guitar much (picking at it some - but not anything serious) over the last 20 years. RB is a completely different animal though. No finger picking chords and you are only strumming one "string" instead of up to six. I do believe that my guitar background helps with anticipating chord progressions in Rock Band though.

    I don't know about the other guitarists out there, but I am looking forward to picking up the Squire when my local Best Buy gets it in stock. I hope it will fire up the desire to play real guitar again. Sounds like Polka is really diggin it. ;-}

Here's a question for everybody. what song do you:
    1) really hate to play, and why?
    And/or...
    2) what song are you ashamed that you love to play?

Most any thrash metal/cookie monster metal. Not a big fan of the genre, but prob because the ridiculously fast stuff sounds off-beat to me, at times.
(Kind of like some punk - it sounds off-rhythm)

Maybe as I get better at guitar, I'll like the challenge of playing fast.
    Doubtful,
I like the challenge of playing syncopation more.

But I think it's fun to see the quirky stuff in everyone's DLC.

1)Hate is such a strong word, but I think any song by Queen falls into that category for me.It's just one of those things.Never liked them, never will.

    2) Now that's a funny one.I'd have to say Take It On The Run by REO Speedwagon.
If my buddies ever caught me singing along with that song,I'd probably get my lights knocked out.
I'll go with the Speedwagon until the Jewel pack gets released.

Don't know about hate but I really, really dislike anything from Phish. Although I can respect their musical talent, I don't like the Grateful Dead either. Sounds like a never ending, meandering, jam session.

I love to play Creed. Nice guitar riffs. I don't know why but I also like to play "You Oughta Know" by Alanis Morrisette.

Yes, you cannot accept invites from anyone while in band quickplay... you will leave the session or close it if you are the leader.

And c'mon Jammer... time for Skype! although those multiple message characters you had from RB2 were kinda funny

I don't like playing Get Free, One Armed Scissor, Du Hast from the main set list... I'm surprised I don't mind singing Any Man of Mine
