Oh and I think our Wii name will show up as "Skippo" My player's name is Twiggy and the hubby's name is Skip Laser - not sure if that part shows up.

And I assume everyone knows about the vocalist's gremlins: i.e. can't always make overdrive work when you want it to, no matter how much you coddle it

I'll go on my skype soapbox and say that most of us have skype running on a laptop/netbook/PC while playing so we can talk/text. It is so much easier for everyone and all you have to do is say, "I don't know this one... can we pick another" instead of dropping out

Welcome to the thread... it is a great group of people to play with!

Been a few since I checked in here; doesn't mean I set the Squier down though!
Welcome new faces! Don't feel any score/performance pressure -- we are just here to have fun!!
(Don't think I would have made it as far learning the Squier Pro Guitar without the laid back gameplay/score attitude of peeps from this forum)

Parsed through and added a bunch:

    Sally1er
    JC2003
    Laalaa
    Baroness
    JOey-Cage: nice Ken-chan avatar
EagleEye: u've been in my Wii, never have showed up on the Friends List

    OH, YEAH ... SECOND THIS:

Slather, welcome to the OMB. I will add you next time I'm on as well. I will second (and third and fouth) some of the things already posted.

Most people do not care what level you play at, or what the score is. It's all about playing with other people. If you have to go Easy/Med. then do it. Gold stars are nice, but the full band experience is far better imo.

dlcquickplay.com is a great site to compare dlc and meet other friends to play with.

Skype is the best way to communicate while playing with others, whether im-ing with them or talking with a mic.

Looking forward to jamming with you and hubby soon.

We are all too familiar with all of the bugs in the wii, including vocal OD. That's why skype is so good, to let the others know what happens when your wii craps out and you have to reset.
