Which means I'm away from the Wii until April 7th. And all that Who, and REM to get tomorrow, too... maybe we'll get some Pearl Jam next week (and there I'll be stuck in San Diego not able to get it... then again, I'll be in San Diego! Working, sure, but I'll still have some free time to enjoy it!)

If you're going to be stuck some place, you can't be San Diego. Be sure to eat some great mexican food for me. I lived there for 27yrs. Try the H Burrito at Tio Leo's, Check out HoDad's in pacific beach, you won't believe their hamburgers. You have to try one of the little taco shops, like Santana's or Albertos. Try a California burrito or the taquitos with guacamole, don't be afraid of the spicy carrots. Man I can't wait till I go back again.

Wanted to share my drum platform experience with you folks.
All in all, it's a success... verified with the downstairs neighbour that the sound problem is resolved, so all is good with the world.
I might make a ver2.0 down the road and tweak some stuff, but for right now this works, and everyone is happy.
Took about $65 CDN worth of materials and 2.5 hours to build.

Awwwww... man.... I can't believe it!

We (Pandora's Boxers) got #1 in the Battle of the Bands "Funkadelic" Battle (by like 200k pts or so).

Unfortunately, I didn't have time to change into my Funky Town outfit (fro and all) and my online stream wasn't cooperating at that very moment...

But we got first in a battle, so I'm stoked. That's a first for me...

Also, I'll be streaming more shows (next one is Friday around 4:15p PST). Go to ustream.tv > channels (shows) > Bazoozoo
It's a cool site because you can chat with your fellow players/viewers, etc.

Maybe we'll even have a Zarlor show when he rolls into town - whadda ya think Zarlor? Lol...

Baz, give me an invite if you see me on, my character always sports a fro so I should be red-to-go. I'd also like to try to get in a streaming session if you've got room, never done that before & sounds fun. Played some GH:WT for the first time in a long time last night, what a difference, so much more difficult even when I got used to the visual changes. Along those lines, is anyone else getting Metallica? I will, almost have to. They were one of my favs as a kid, getting Blackened was huge & been waiting for Sanitarium & Master of Puppets for a long time.

Sounds good Mega. If you (or anyone of you) ever get an invite from "BIG GREEN" go to my stream page because you might just be live! And that way we can chat (song selections, venues, etc.).

As for Metallica, I have ...And Justice and Blackened. And knowing my 'Anarchist Rising' band mates, I'll probably be getting Ride the Lightning soon.

BTW - is anyone else here registered with dlcquickplay.co-m? I registred a couple days ago. I like the "compare" feature (just enter someone's username and it give you a list of the DLC you have in common).

BTW - Pub, I'm glad you found a solution to that sound problem. You're a good neighbor! Hopefully she appreciates all the steps you took to make it better. I guess it was a bass pedal issue then? At least you didn't have to resort to the marshmallow tweak...

What are the black discs in the picture btw? Feet?

thanks Bazoozoo, I'll do that next time. As for the mighty Met, I was wondering about GH:Metallica, I think it comes out on Sunday. Just wondering if anyone else here planned on getting it, maybe swap some codes for a few jam sessions. That reminds me, I've got to post my GH FC's....

To be honest I just don't like the way they do vocals in GH, so I don't plan on getting it. I will admit that Master of Puppets has to be in my Top 10 for albums, but it's still not enough to get me to buy it. Sorry.

There are some things I like about GH over RB2, but many more I like RB2 for better. Vocals is a huge one, but so is online play as well. So I'll stick with RB2 for now.

Bazoozoo, for streaming my performances... do you really think folks care about my warbling away in and out of my falsetto? :/ Some songs are right in my range, some I have to jump around a little on and I never think I sound all that good on those songs. I just figure I'm getting the job done and having some fun with it, but I'd hate to hear myself sing them. Still, I could probably survive through the ordeal if you simply had to do it.
