well, 1st impressions of GH Metallica are not good. Gamestop promo was a free 2nd bass pedal with pre-order but sorry wii owners those are only for Xbox/PS3. What else is new, and of course the stores just found out today. Customer Service just gave me the finger when I asked when I could expect my pedal to arrive, "manufacturer didn't make it wii compatable, sorry sucker". Took it back on principle alone.

ncdiscgolfher, I'll add you when I can get back on.

PK, when I can get back on should be around April 7th.

HoneyBee, I can't say that I was doing much actual harmonizing for true backup vocals, but the two of us did often just sing along while playing guitar instead of doing voals. You can't really avoid It, I think. My guitar playing was pretty bad, though. Still, I figured if I don't work on trying to do Bass on hard, I'll never be able to move up to that level, so it was a good workout for trying to work that orange button into the repetoire. I still have problems resetting my fingers in the right places after sliding my hand up or down.

BTW, for everyone who suggested going to Alberto's while I'm here I have one big question... WHICH Alberto's? It's a pretty common restaurant name here.

That's *really* surprising considering how many units GH moves on the Wii platform.

Everyone get the SDHC card support update this week? I read that everyone was worried about space. The new update allows games and channels to be run off of an SD card up to 32gb. Figured I'd ask since normally Nintendo sends out a message on the Wii message board but I don't remember getting one. I didn't know about it until we added Wii points on the shop channel. If you haven't already just go to your Wii systems options and download the update. It takes a little longer than usual but 32gb worth of SDHC card support is worth it. I don't know about anyone else but I think this solves my memory storage issues for atleast a little while.

    Hi lockhead,

I downloaded the update but I only have a 2GB card, so I haven't tested if it works with larger cards yet. I can tell you the function to launch games straight from the SD card works flawlessly and they load faster.

You guys think Ten will release today for the Wii? I don't get how spongebob can even be released as DLC, that looks like a waste of 3 good dlc spots to me.

    Alright,couple of questions...
1.If I'm practicing with "breakneck speed",get an invite, and accept the invite.Do I remain in "breakneck speed"?
2.Can I change out of breakneck and still answer the invite?
3.Anyone ever experience short lags while playing with others online?
The reason I'm asking is I was playing with Dale a.k.a. HURR last night and I failed miserably on "Let There Be Rock".I was playing in Hard difficulty on guitar and I had been practicing on Breakneck before the invite.I never switched it,and played the invite. When we played it came at normal speed but seemed jumpy and also It seemed like I had to play the note just a little before it hit. After he left (and I don't blame him...god it was horrible..)I went back did the whole set on hard at normal speed and 92% the same tune.I'm thinking next time go a difficulty down to make sure it's right?????Anyone ever get that?

Lockheed -- there's a thread on the wii 4.0 update here:
    http://www.rockband.com/forums/showthread.php?t=130638
seems like you can't use it with RB2 DLC

ennis1437- I made the change. What pedal did you end up getting? I was looking into it recently and can't decide between rock pedal and destroyer or keeping the RB2 stock pedal. I don't have limb independence yet- so I still suck on most of the songs with bass pedal notes.
