Default XBOX RB2 Wireless DRUMS NOT SYNCING? LOOK HERE FOR SOLUTION

Ok guys you all may be thinking your rock band 2 drums are not syncing and may think that they are broke. But really the recent drum sets seem to sync Differently.

Steps to get your drums synced.
If you got your rock band 2 drumset as of Christmas or recently.
1.Turn your xbox on.
2.Have everything connected on the wireless drums, bass pedal ext.
When the button on the drums is blinking, Bring the drums close to the console.
3. Press and hold both sync buttons on the xbox and drumset at the exact time.
4. Drums should begin syncing sequence, and they should be momentarily synced.
5. If this does not work contact technical support, or continue to try this method.

I tried this and everything else, but to no avail.

My SOLUTION!!!

err close to it. I returned my xbox 360 drum kit to Best Buy; Yes, they took it. They gave me store credit and I bought a new one.

With the new one, I got the Best Buy 2 year replacement warranty. That way, I don't have to ever send them in.

Best part: the new set works!

Default Return = Results

I had the same problem and tried your fix (and many others) with no success. Here's another "drum sync" issue thread...
http://www.rockband.com/forums/showthread.php?t=106991
(I kept returning them until I found a working pair. 3rd time was a charm.) There are many people reporting this issue on newly purchased boxes.

Question Drums Keeping Losing Sync

I have a PS3.Ok say im playing a song right. While im playing the dongle starts blinking after like 2 min. Then When i hit one of the drum pads it wont hit. So then I have to turn off the drums from the back (Song Still Playing) and then it starts working. Then sometimes it keeps happening every 30 seconds. How do I fix This?
