HeyRiles's RB: Future Classics (00s Setlist)

Hey all, I'm back again with another RB3 setlist. Two reasons this list was created:
    1) Many people commented on my traditional setlist that it was too modern, and
    2) Activision is apparently making a new Guitar Hero game called Modern Hits.
So, I've listened mostly to modern music, and since it's pretty easy to rip off Guitar Hero, why not make a setlist that I may know a little better?

Anyway, here's the result. My (fake) proposed title for this game Rock Band: Future Classics, featuring 80 bands and songs that have helped shape the music world of this current decade. Hope you enjoy!
As always, rate one to five, and please only post educated, insightful comments. I'll do my best to reply to anything you guys can write out.

Just one note - the songs are ordered by guitar difficulty. Feel free to leave comments, thanks!

Not bad, Riles. Not bad at all. I don't know of many modern bands so I wouldn't know what songs to replace/add/subtract.

That's okay, I have no intention of updating this list anyway. You should try giving it a listen one day, I'm pretty sure it's a good collaboration of modern throughout almost each genre of the decade

Ew at the U2 choice, but seeing as you are going by their 00's songs, it's passable. Very nice list, overall, and you have a bunch of DO WANT songs on there.

(City of Blinding Lights would be better)

I struggled with that or Vertigo, but in the end, I figured that U2 is a big enough band (definitely) for people to not need a big single from them to know who they are

I didn't notice City of Blinding Lights on the first go-around and didn't get a chance to listen to it, I just did and I instantly remembered it and probably would've been a better fit than All Because of You. Ah well, can't win 'em all

this list is skewed way too heavily towards pop punk and alternative rock.

Arctic Monkeys and DFA1979 make this automatically the best list I've ever seen. Hyperbole aside, this is a pretty great list. If it were me, I would've put bands like Vampire Weekend and Arcade Fire over bands like U2 and TMBG who really peaked in earlier decades, but then Experimental Film is a great song, so I guess I can't really blame you.
