    Rock Band: 80s Track Pack

so with the AC/DC track pack being out, I thought there could be another track pack that's worth your money
(not saying AC/DC sucks, they could just include more songs for what Im paying)

some of these are pretty common on most RB3 wishlists Ive seen here, and some are songs that come to mind when I think of the 80s

    1980 (2 Songs)
    • The Police – Don’t Stand So Close to Me (New Wave)
    • Judas Priest – Breaking the Law (Heavy Metal)

    1981 (2 Songs)
    • Journey – Don’t Stop Believin’ (Rock)
    • Rick Springfield – Jessie’s Girl (Rock)

    1982 (2 Songs)
    • Queen – Under Pressure (Pop)
    • Michael Jackson – Beat it (Rock)

    1983 (4 Songs)
    • Billy Idol – Rebel Yell (Rock)
    • David Bowie – Lets Dance (Pop)
    • Quiet Riot – *** on Feel the Noize (Heavy Metal)
    • Suicidal Tendencies – Institutionalized (Punk/Metal?)

    1984 (4 Songs)
    • Echo & the Bunnymen – The Killing Moon (Punk?)
    • The Scorpions – Rock you like a Hurricane (Heavy Metal)
    • Van Halen – Panama (Hard Rock)
    • Twisted Sister – Were Not Gonna Take it (Heavy Metal)

    1985 (3 Songs)
    • A-ha – Take on Me (New Wave)
    • Oingo Boingo – Dead Mans Party (New Wave)
    • John Cafferty – Hearts on Fire (Rock)

    1986 (5 Songs)
    • Bon Jovi – You Give Love a Bad Name (Hard Rock)
    • Poison – I Want Action (Glam Metal)
    • Beastie Boys – No Sleep Til Brooklyn (Hard Rock)
    • RUN-D.M.C. – Walk This Way (Rap Rock)
    • Metallica – Master of Puppets (Thrash Metal)

    1987 (4 Songs)
    • R.E.M. – It’s the End of the World as we know it (and I Feel Fine) (Alternative)
    • Def Leppard – Pour Some Sugar on Me (Hard Rock)
    • Whitesnake – Here I Go Again (Glam Metal)
    • The Cult Love Removal Machine (Hard Rock)

    1988 (1 Song)
    • Joan Jett & the Blackhearts – I Hate Myself for Loving You (Hard Rock)

    1989 (2 Songs)
    • Aerosmith – Love in an Elevator (Hard Rock)
    • Nirvana – About a Girl (Grunge)
    Im open to any suggestions

Some good songs in there, but I'm not sure if a Track Pack is the way to go. Fair enough for those without internet connections or who use PS2, but I would just rather see this available as regular DLC other wise. It just strikes me as so utterly wasteful of time, money, resources etc. to manufacture a disc with tracks that most people would then just redeem a code for to download into their games (a la the AC/DC pack) if they are a 360/PS3 user.

I'm all for releasing Track Packs for those who can't get online or who play RB on PS2, but to make it the only option should be as avoided as much as humanly possible in the future.

1: Change to Living After Midnight; almost as popular, way more fun for everyone.
2: Change to Run for Cover (for fun) or Metal Health (for popularity and fun).
3: Get rid of. You have a good Aerosmith song; no need to put one that got completely ruined by bad rapping in.
