    What is Pink Floyd's best album?

    I'm doing this for myself because I have no Idea. I want to get peoples opinions so I can go out and buy the one that wins.
    And another thing: I'm cutting out a few of the albums because they have more than 10 albums and you're only aloud 10 poll options. Sorry 'bout that.
    All albums are listed in order by year.

    You should start with Dark Side of the Moon (of course) but my favorite would be Wish You Were Here or Animals. Whatever you do, do NOT get the Final Cut.

    Depends on what you like, though floyd is a band that it's impossible to say for sure imo. The obvious choice would be Dark Side of the Moon, but it's not my fav, just the best listen from start to finish for most I would say. Wish You Were Here is great, welcome to the machine and have a cigar are 2 of my fav floyd songs, and wywh was one of the first songs I learned on guitar. Animals has some good tracks, absolutely love the song Dogs. Piper at the gates is good, but different, it has that whole gnomes and fairies feel to it which is great on psychadelics but not so much as for something to throw in at a party. I also love the dvd of Live at Pompei, for something recorded that far back the visuals and sound quality are amazing.
