Connecting Electronic Drums to Rock Band

I just wanted to thank all the folks that have posted how to make this work. I thought I'd summarize what I did in a short video.

    I'm using a Roland TD-9SX drum set.

    Enjoy!

Nice video, unfortunately the kit I'm getting won't play nice with the GHWT midi input.

    I love your speakers!

Yes, except the TD-3's MIDI configuration is locked down. In that video, you know how he shows how you have to set each pad's MIDI note to match the GH:WT setup? You can't do that on the TD-3.

But the good news is that the TD-3's default setup already matches those notes, at least for the snare/toms/kick. I think there's an issue with the cymbals though, but I don't own a TD-3 nor a GH:WT drum set, so I can't confirm that.

Thanks DS. I'm really not all that worried about cymbals initially. I'm getting the TD-3 to see if I like the drums enough long term. If I do like them, I'll upgrade quickly.
