Magenta is very close for me as well, but Marillion still remains as number one

For me it would go Pendragon, IQ, then Marillion... haven't gotten a chance to listen to Magenta yet, though.

I dunno about that, King Crimson and Rush dont seem like the kinds of bands that would tour together
Rush has a more metal and hard rock sound, while King Crimson has a more jazzy sound
(Then again, Mastadon did tour with Dethklok and theyre pretty different from eachother)

KingProgdor gave a pretty good list of bands already; there aren't a lot of neo-prog bands, to be honest. I'd add Arena and Twelfth Night as well, however.

    Some album suggestions from me:

Marillion - Script for a Jester's Tear, Misplaced Childhood, Marbles, Anoraknophobia, Marillion.com

IQ - Subterranea, The Seventh House, The Wake

Pendragon - The Masquerade Overture, Not Of This World, Pure

    Frost* - Milliontown

Twelfth Night - Fact and Fiction

Although I haven't ever listened to Arena, I'm told Songs From The Lion's Cage and Immortal? are pretty good.

How DOES one tour with Dethklok?
