I don't know how many are familiar with Glass Hammer's The Inconsolable Secret being impossible to get from the source (official site) and costing an arm and a leg on sites like Amazon, but when I saw it on the list of one of my favourite online shops for $17 plus shipping I near fell off the bed.

Finally finished listening to The World That We Drive Through... it wasn't that bad, although the title track kinda detracted from the overall quality of the disc. To be honest, that song sounded less like anything else I've heard out of The Tangent and more like something reminiscent of late-career Barenaked Ladies, and I don't mean that in an endearing way.

Don't remember much specifics, but that album is their weakest and, understandably, their least memorable so that may have something to do with why I don't remember much. :P

I'm still up in the air as to which one I like best though, because the other four are great in their own right. Still have to listen to Down and Out again though, but I really enjoyed it when I first listened to it, from what I remember.

Yeah, that's what I would probably call my favorite of theirs as well. Very enjoyable album.

The Music That Died Alone is the only Tangent record that matters.

If there is one thing that we both agree on here it's that The Music That Died Alone is a fantastic album, but I absolutely cannot agree with the rest, good sir.

Sorry, A Place in the Queue and Not as Good as the Book really didn't hold me at all; and the former really left a bad taste in my mouth. As for The World That We Drive Through it really didn't left any impression so I don't remember it.

Hah, I hear you on The World That We Drive Through. Still can't remember a lot of what I've heard even though I'm sure I've listened to the album multiple times.

And hey, it's all 'bout personal preference. Not a big deal who likes or dislikes what.
