Guilt Machine's 'Perfection' could work, because the edit is only about 9 and a half minutes. For any who got the special edition with the DVD (and those who took things a step further and found a program to rip the audio from the DVD to mp3 format) would notice that if they took out the little intro section they'd be able to fit that song in its entirety.

Most of the GM tracks are barely over 10 minutes, and they should be able to edit the voicemail messages out if need be to save time.

I'm considering shooting Arjen another mail to tell him how happy I am to see his music is coming to RBN, and to ask him if he knows which tracks will make it in.
if they could fit all of On This Perfect Day on RBN i would need to change my pants

also, you totally should shoot him another message with that, and i will thank you right now for doing so in the first place Lexinator

Cut the reprise from the end; problem solved. Forgot it was 11:11...

Also, First Man On Earth would be my favorite from a vocal perspective. Very old-school British prog sound to it.

Oh, finally bought my tickets to see Transatlantic next month. Can't wait...

Also, why didn't anyone tell me Uriah Heep released a new album a few months ago? Anyways, just got it, will listen to it in a bit.

EDIT: Still don't understand how they do it, but the new Uriah Heep album is excellent stuff. Their re-recording of Gypsy is spectacular.

It's really quite polished. Some of the songs I recognized more than others (Gypsy obviously was one that came to mind), but they're doing a fantastic job of remaining not only musically relevant, but still technically very sound, even four decades later...

I'm with you here Schiz. It won't be as good without David Byron.

Even if they find a competent vocalist for the job. It'd be just like Candlemass re-recording stuff like Nightfall and Ancient Dreams with Robert Lowe on vocals. You can't have either album without Messiah, it wouldn't be NEARLY as good.

see, that's the thing, i don't mind them moving on without him, because they have good material post-Byron, but i dunno if i can hear anyone but him wailing out on Gypsy
