Awesome! Personally, I wasn't too fond of Arsis. It was just Sean Malone displaying his bass skills, which isn't a bad thing at all. But if it suits you, then great! Another band in your pocket.

Friend came over to my house Friday. Said I needed to listen to this one song, Hocus Pocus by Focus. I liked the song, I liked the riff, I thought it was cool, but then it just turns into an experimental masterpiece. I picked up the album, Moving Waves, and it's just incredible. Pretentious, maybe. But incredible.

About the album, I find it fascinating that the album only has 6 songs. Only 2 of those songs have vocals. And one of those 2 is Hocus Pocus.

What should I pick up next?

Focus is very underrated same for Moving Waves

The best thing about Focus had to be the guitar sections, probably some of the best guitar sections of it's genre.
