Well... the game lists them as indie IIRC.

Some suggestions for ska: Reel Big Fish, Less Than Jake, The Planet Smashers, Big D And The Kids Table, Streetlight Manifesto, Catch 22, Five Iron Frenzy, The Specials, Mustard Plug, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Aquabats, Deal's Gone Bad
Please get a more original avatar than Radiohead's OK Computer and The Clash's London Calling. Yes, that means you.

Yeah, that's a lot more than I expected, so I'll add an extra slot. Any song suggestions from there?

O.K., now for punk and alternative. The reason I'm saving rock and metal for last is because they are the most common, and I can manipulate the distribution of each era like that.

Is the genre distribution/band selection good so far? Comments pl0x?

For an 8th punk band, I'd suggest Dead Kennedys, Black Flag, or Bad Brains.

    Some basic song recommendations:
Dead Kennedys- I Kill Children, Nazi Punks **** Off, or Government Flu
Black Flag- Nervous Breakdown, Rise Above, TV Party
Bad Brains- Banned in D.C., I Against I, Pay to ***

Need 3 metal bands, preferably not from the 00's or 90's.
