What to check out for Blondie and Lita Ford?

I want some more music fronted by lady rockers. I have acquired an interest in Blondie and Lita Ford. Can someone please tell me a good album for each to start with?

Here's what I'm THINKING but I'm not sure if they're the best ones to get.

    Lita Ford - Lita
    Blondie - Parallel Lines

What do you music peoples think?

you nailed the two picks that will net you the most songs you're already familiar with (and both are very good albums), but i prefer blondie's "eat to the beat" and lita's "stiletto".

    check out all four!

Parallel Lines definitely. With Lita, I'd skip her solo work and just get runaways stuff. So much better.
Does anyone chart anymore? le sigh.

Parallel Lines is good, but if you want Blondie's harder-rocking stuff, you should go for their self-titled.

I'll say; Lita's solo material is the epitome of mehtastic.

For Blondie though; who is an amazing band, grab.. well everything.

Parallel Lines is a good start for Blondie, but not their best

Yea, Lita had a few decent tunes per album but never managed to churn out a good top to bottom album. I agree with Sor, better off checking out her work with The Runaways.

Blondie: Eat to the Beat and Parallel Lines.
Lita Ford: any greatest hits album.

I don't know if I'm familar with any of Lita Ford's tunes she did with The Runaways. What are some good tunes to check out?

I have kinda a confession to make about the Lita album though - I've recently fallen in love with that ballad duet that she did with Ozzy that's on that album. That is partly (but by no means entirely - there's other tracks there I am interested in) why I was thinking about that one.

That album, Lita, was her biggest success and arguably best album. Certainly the most solid from top to bottom and not as many clunkers on it than her other solo stuff. I think I still have a copy of it kicking around somewhere.

As for the Runaways I dog it all but I've always really liked these
