Because he's an excellent acoustic guitarist, and I think that goes well with Ann's voice.

Do I have to pick between Dave Murray and Adrian Smith since they do the duel-lead thing?

Damn. Chick vocalist... hafta say Dave Murray on account of his guitar tone is the best ever. It sounds like a freakin' horn. You can pick him out of a group of a hundred players.

Actually, that's not a bad call on Murray. Ann would've made one helluva metal chick back in the day....I could see a Maiden or Priest guitarist backing her up.

Not to be a ****, but really. Murray is in an entirely different league than Downing and Tipton. So is Adrian, while I'm at it.

Sorry, I really feel like the Downing/Tipton duo gets too much credit for pioneering dual-lead even though they weren't very good at it. At least, not as good as Davey/Adrian.
