I'd vote for Clapton, but I love Howe's guitar skills

I'd say their greatest strength as dual-lead guitarists was their teamwork, and there aren't a whole lot of other two guitar line-ups that rival them in that regard.
Then again, I'm a huge Priest fan who thinks that Iron Maiden has never moved out of their shadow and I can't be convinced otherwise.

    As for my vote:

    Eric Clapton: 4
    Steve Howe: 4
    Dave Murray: 1
    Johnny Marr: 1
    Jimi Hendrix: 1

Just because I feel like I have to defend my two favorite guitarists.

Sorry, I really feel like the Downing/Tipton duo gets too much credit for pioneering dual-lead even though they weren't very good at it. At least, not as good as Davey/Adrian.
Scott Gorham and Brian Robertson for the win!

I thought to be random by adding the two guitarists from Thin Lizzy to this argument.
