I have like, 5 or 6 CDs strewn in the backseat that I need to replace with something else. I don't even know what they are, because I have a bad habit of leaving only a handfull of CDs in there for about 4 or 5 months and getting ridiculously bored with it.

My stereo was stolen about a month ago, and I finally got it replaced this past Saturday, which, let me tell you, is ****ing AWESOME to have one back.

Which, while we're on the subject, my new stereo has an aux port on it, is that enough to plug an iPod in, or do I need some other inane accessory to accomplish that? *Has had a 10 year-old stereo until now*

i've got three books that carry 100 cd's each in my car.

the two joy division full-lengths have received seriously heavy play lately, along with "sgt peppers".

In my car right now are "Leviathan" by Mastodon, the "Symptom of the Universe" compilation of Ozzy era Sabbath, and a CD my older brother burned of various Mountain Goats songs (the same that first got me in to the band).

I'm too cool for CDs, I hook up my iPod.

I'm going to figure out some safe way to gerryrig my record player so I could vinyls playing in my car without scratching them.

We're 3-4 people every morning and evening in the car so we decided to make a cd to rally our diverging tastes. Here is the list:

    1. L’ours – Tricot machine
    2. L’hymne de nos campagnes – Tryo
    3. M’accrocher – Loco locass
    4. Dégénération – Mes Aieux
    5. Hurt – Johnny Cash
    6. Vertige –Karkwa
    7. War – Bob Marley
    8. Hallelujah – John Cale
    9. Snow (Hey Ho)– Red Chili Peppers
    10. En berne – Cowboys fringants
    11. Close to me – The Cure
    12. Un quart de piasse – Vincent Vallières
    13. Shut up – Black eyed peas (I know....)
    14. Angle mort – Kodiak
    15. Right Now (na na na) – Akon (god damn)
    16. Roundabout – Yes
    17. Stand by me - Ben E. King
    18. Entre deux taxis – Cowboys fringants

Can you tell which are my 4 choices?
It was like a bird of rarest-spun heaven metal or like silvery wine flowing in a spaceship, gravity all nonsense now.

It should work fine, so long as you have a cord to connect it.

In my car, I only use my iPod via the line in. In my brother's car, I only use my iPod, via a cassette adapter. In my dad's car, I keep a small stash of CDs because he doesn't have a line in... mostly mixes. Three of various artists, one of Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, and another of Fall Out Boy. The only actual album I have is "Give Up" by The Postal Service.

Edit: Oh! In my dad's car I also have a copy of "From the Screen to Your Stereo 2" by New Found Glory. It's only there because a friend left it over a year ago and has never asked for it back. Not a bad CD, though.

When I've got some subject that I hold dear, I just put it in a song and I know that you'll hear.

No, that's all you need. (assuming you have a cord for it, obviously)

My music teacher might have some redneck left in him, in his 20s, he had a home sound system hooked up in his Jeep.
