How do you watch basketball? All they do is go straight down a court and put a ball in a circle.

How to you watch soccer/hockey/lacrosse? All they do is go down a field and put an object in a goal.

How do you watch football? All they do is go straight down a field.

How do you watch tennis? All they do is hit a ball over a net?

etc. etc. etc. Don't even get me started.

While I agree that NASCAR isn't as dumb as the ignorant people make it out to be, Daytona and Talladega are probably the WORST examples to use, lol. The restrictions on the cars force them to race around in a pack and the whole race is dependent upon drafting, and not just driver skill. More times than I can count, the guy with the fastest car didn't win because he got hung out to dry on the last lap. Atlanta, Phoenix, Lowe's, Bristol, etc: THOSE are tracks that require skill.

I still prefer F1 to NASCAR anyway though. 13 turn, 3-mile tracks FTW! Not to mention all the drama going on this year. It's truly captivating to watch.

Nascar became boring for me when I realized that it's just watching 43 cars go around in circles for 4 hours.

Daytona and Talladega are my two favorites to watch for that very reason.

I used to watch nascar every Sunday until I just got extremely bored of watching the same thing every week. now I only throw on nascar when they are either racing at Daytona, Talladega, Watkins Glen, or at Inferion.

LOL! Other than golf, I'd say baseball is the most boring sport to watch. I LOVE playing both of them, but they are flat-out awful to watch, IMO.

So you like watching the guy who raced a perfect race lose because some d-bag screwed him on the last lap? That ain't my cup o' tea, lol. I like the races where the drivers are in control of their own destiny, rather than depending on other drivers to basically make them win.

I enjoy the fact that no one can pull out to a 5 second lead the whole race and that even the part-time, unsponsored guys have a shot to win, yes. It gets boring watching the smae drivers in victory lane every week.

Yeah, it is pretty boring, but I keep stats of every Met game so that makes it a little more interesting.

EDIT: But baseball is still a lot better than watching cars go around in circles.
