Now if the actual glass Brad used were to surface, that's a real one-of-a-kind item. This glass they're auctioning is just a replica of it, very easy to make a knock-off of it.

I don't think the real glass will be sold. I'm sure Penske is putting that one in his shop somewhere.

also, in NTG:IL I still do not have a Primary sponsor. In my 2nd season and have won a combined 21 races. (7 last season, 14 this season) I am in the chase, two races (won both) in and I have a 47 point lead. What do I need to change?

I predict the 500 to be a crashfest. Why? Because drivers are going to think they're still driving the COT and take risks that you can get away with with the COT but you can't get away with the Gen-6 car. Just take a look at the test crash at Daytona with Junior and Ambrose. Junior slide across the back bumper of Ambrose ever so slightly and turned him causing a mess on the backstretch, very similar to how wrecks occurred on the backstretch pre-COT. Going to be a lot more of those types of wrecks since drivers have to re-learn how to drive on restrictor plate tracks like they used to.

And only 1 month left to the Sprint Unlimited now (formally known as the Shootout), Nascar has the fastest off-season, that's for sure.

I imagine a lot of small, single car wrecks, or just one big wreck like the fall Talladega race crash with 25 cars. Should be a good 500 to watch anyways.

Also, who do you think has the better shot of getting ROTY? Typically I'd say Danica, but I assume many fans have realized she's overhyped by now. I'd say Stenhouse has it without a problem.

No question with me, Stenhouse is going to take it easily probably by 2-3 races.

I think by now everybody here knows my take on Danica, she's not meant to race a stock car. She's going to have an absolutely miserable year racing full time in Cup where the competition is 10x stiffer than the Nationwide series where she also didn't have any success. I predict she'll end up anywhere from 25th to 30th in points while Stenhouse will probably finish somewhere in top 20.

There has been a lot of "whining" about this on the NTG forums because of this. It seems to me like you will be paying $1 for whatever car you want to drive. You will race against the other 42 cars, but you only have to pay for whatever car you want to race.

If I see any more official news on this (more detailed pricing) I'll let you guys know.

Well, that's stupid considering last year's car update for 2011 was free. They should have just made it $10-$15 for all cars for 2013 because that's something a lot of people would want, who's bright idea was it to have people buy one car at a time costing a dollar per car and then you unlock the 2013 set, but you can only race as that one driver? I think I'm in the majority saying that I'd like to have the whole set of 43 cars available for me to drive, not just one car, and if I want to have all 43 cars available to me to drive, I have to spend $43 to have them? Ridiculous, no wonder people are whining, because it's stupid.

They should at the very least offer an option to purchase the whole 2013 set to drive at a discounted price as well as the option to buy cars individually like the way Rock Band does it. This is the same as if Rock Band only allowed you to buy a song one at a time rather than getting the whole pack. Doesn't make sense.

Let's be honest though. How many drivers of that 43 car feild do you plan on driving as? The more I think of it, the better of an idea it sounds. Still hope there is a major discount if we want to buy all of the cars though.
