You shouldn't be racing in Cup with just one year's experience in a stock car. I felt the same way when Juan Pablo Montoya came over to the Cup series from open wheel racing.

I mean, I have to agree that this whole Danica to Cup thing is kinda rushed. There's a big difference between Indy cars and stock cars. She needs some more experience driving Nationwide before moving up because you can't spend just one year driving a part-time schedule and then expect to go big time. It's like a high school senior who expects to go straight to the NBA. A majority of people need a path to the top.

I mean, seriously, there are some Nationwide regulars like Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Jason Leffler who are waiting to get a ride up there. They seriously deserve to race for something more than Danica.

Agreed and it's not like she dominated the Nationwide to warrant a promotion. She had only one decent run at Las Vegas where she finished 4th and that's it really and maybe a couple other top 10's and she gets a Cup ride with that resume? I mean come on... I try not to hate on her but I can't stand when people turn a blind eye to stuff like this in sports. You're being naive if you think Danica got to the Cup Series because of her skills in a stock car.

Yeah it was pretty nuts but when is the truck race at Daytona uneventful?

King completely wrecked Sauter though, he probably didn't do it on purpose because he's unexperienced, but Sauter was in line to win that race.

And that wreck at the end with Coulter going into the fence kinda looked reminiscent to Edwards' crash at 'dega a few years back. I'm hoping the Nationwide is a little less crash-tastic, but it should be just as good a race as the trucks were.

Now that I think about it, it's not really NASCAR's fault if or if not Danica has a Cup car, but it's Tommy Baldwin Jr. who put her in for those 10 races (in which seeing that she's only running 10 races instead of full-time is a little consolation). NASCAR itself probably just gets ticket sales since she's all the hype.

Interesting, cause the moment I saw the car flip this came to mind. Probably cause I saw the car hit the fence, but I just knew it would be safer and less graphic.

Every time I see Geoff Bodine's truck crash, I can't believe he survived that. He was extremely lucky to walk away from that with just a few broken bones.
