Has RB inspired you to play real instruments?

I was just curious if Rock Band has inspired anyone to start playing real instruments. I know there's been a few threads about RB drummers becoming real drummers, or at least wanting to.
Asides from drumming, has anyone actually went out of their way to pick up Bass or guitar? or even decided to try out real singing? (not that that's an instrument, but you know what I mean).

I personally have had two guitars for quite a long time, but never really bothered to learn how to play either of the. Recently, due to my exposure to rock band, I've actually been picking up my guitars, and have been teaching myself how to play it.

So anyway, it would certainly be interesting to see if people who have had no experience, or very little experience with real instruments have decided to go out of their way to play instruments due to playing rock band, or even guitar hero.

I've played real guitar before guitar hero. But the Rock Band drums thing may get me into real drumming.

I've started learning guitar, but I've always wanted to. I can just finally afford it. Rock Band got me interested in drumming, though I haven't picked that up yet.

Thanks to rock band I can drum to a mediocre level. I'm no Keith Moon or Neil Peart but I can drum in any crappy mainstream rock band I want.

I played drums in middle school, but haven't played seriously in about ten years. I thought about picking them up again, but i'm very lazy. I mean, that would require getting the old drum set out of the attic, setting it up, probably having to buy new heads and definitely a new snare drum... nah, not for me.
When I've got some subject that I hold dear, I just put it in a song and I know that you'll hear.

Yes, the thought of learning how to play drums has crossed my mind plenty of times after playing rock band. But so far no luck, might be the lack of money.
