    They are different rock bands, duh. But they aren't completely different as you claimed.

    Agreed. Blues rock is not the same as Arena rock.

    But I really don't like Journey, so Aerosmith.

    They are both great, but I grew up listening to Aerosmith.

    I like both, but I'd have to say Aerosmith is better. Journey was always accused of being "corporate rock," and it's a pretty apt description. And as Journey continued its journey (heh) into softer and softer rock, the talent of hard-rockers like guitarist Neal Schon was really wasted.

    This is much tougher than the Aerosmith vs. Van Halen therad from a couple days ago, but I'd probably side with Aerosmith by just a smidge.
