I think you're thinking of the castle from GH:WT.

Well, I know they did it at their castle venue.

I don't remember flaming arrows in Rock Band.

Empire state garden, Wilshire Forum, Das krapfentheatr (sp?), The Rockakabana, The manor, and Sheng Li stadium are my favorites. I just love it when the pulsating strobe lights make your eyes throb. Also, explosions = amazing.

I saw something like that in the Venues Preview video of RB2, but I've never seen my characters do that. I want them to.

Also, I like the Circo de Musica in Madrid, Il Grande Teatro Della Roccia (wow, mouthful) in Rome, the Wilshire Forum in L.A, and the Penfold Dome in London. I like the giant "CIRCO" sign, the cool lights in Rome, the big "ROCK BAND" sign in L.A, and the lamp posts in London. The Manor also, for obvious reasons.

And of course there's the almighty Gorilla Dome in Tokyo, king of online lag. That's my favourite.

I like the Gorilla Dome, but Echo Hangar even more because it goes so well with my band, and planes kick ass.

No love for the Chronos Club, with its clocks-in-reverse theme? It's my favorite venue by far.

Echo Hangar in Austin has a three set make-a-setlist. We just take turns picking three songs each we want to play. It's the perfect size for us.

It's also a larger venue, so you get good fans and/or money. On top of that, it seems to give us a LOT of special circumstances. We put on the CPA or Cameron, depending on whether we want money or fans, and just jam.

Finally, three WWII era planes (two of which are suspended in the air) shooting sparks out of the machine guns over the crowd is awesome, and the plane on the ground hides that drummer that no one wants to see anyway. Heh.

The second gig in Seattle or the palace hotel ballroom in Chicago are my favorite. I also like the venue that's in the room with the window that over looks the city. (somewhere in Europe)

As much as I love the game's art direction, I rarely have time to actually look at the venue when I'm playing (jukebox mode please!) I haven't gotten around to testing out the venue selection option in the modifier menu, does that give you a good display of what you can choose or just a list?
