that's awesome that the winner will get to go to AC. The good thing is, win that one in AC, then the next night the championship is there too. So it would be an awesome trip to check out the regional and the finals in the same weekend.

wow, this contest is turning to a.s.s. real quick. how can you remove a song that was a winning performance? all these rule changes are not cool at all.

The song's inclusion had to be a mistake, a comparison of all the high scores for the available songs was posted on scorehero a month ago and TR had the next one beat by several hundred thousand. If this was the top secret strategy I'm surprised only one team pulled it off.

Changing the song list for a different night really should have no effect on the integrity of the contest. Everybody that played that night could have chosen it and had the same unfair advantage.

Yea you are correct, this was the highest scoring song and it levels out the playing field a little to remove it. I am kind of glad they axed it, but it should have never been on the list...

Can anyone else confirm that you can play multiple qualifying nights to make the finals? I just want to make sure.

Just a concern of mine, since Harrah's told me you can ONLY play once.

It seems like different venues have slightly different rules. On the Harrah's site you will notice a rule set for every single venue. So ultimately its going to be up to the people running the contest. Did you already enter and not win or are you holding out for the right night?

We have not played yet. Obviously if we can only play once I am not so sure playing on the first night is the greatest idea. But if we can play more than once, play on.

from what i understand, bally's said that you can play once as a band per night. you can't repeat with a different band on the same night. they also said (which i think may be incorrect) that people can play again on other nights, but NOT in the same band. who knows? these rules change every 17 seconds or so. any more songs taken off the list since I began writing this?

Vegas people are all flakes - can't seem to find bandmates with any consistency or reliability, so I'll probably end up a spectator. Shame, I can FC most of the songs on that list on vocals.
