    Voice chat in RB2 on PS3

    I think Voice Chat was a great addition and badly needed, however after using it on Saturday night for the first time I was left wondering about a few things.....

    When does the window start and stop that you can talk to the other person or people? I can't seem to find this documented anywhere. Just before the song starts it seems to cut off.

    I can hear the other person fine but they say my voice comes through at a very low level even although I talk into the mic quite loudly. Is there any way they can make me come through louder at their end? Is it something to do with vocal track volume or mic volume? The other end is using a GHWT mic and I am using a singstar mic.

    If your the one doing the singing.. During song play, it cuts the mic off, but the other ones (that arent singing) are still able to talk to one another... That is so everyone else cant hear the person singing...

    So pretty much "singers" mic cuts off when the song starts... But everyone else can talk.

    OK thanks.

    Does anyone know how to adjust the volume of the person speaking on the other end?

    There isnt much of a way for "you" to turn them up, other than turning up your TV itself to be able to hear them...

    Otherwise.. Depending on the system your using... on PS3.. they can change their Mic volume in their settings

    You need to turn up the mic on YOUR end, in the general Playstation settings. The default is 3. 4 or 5 is better.

    @Sudden

    Yeah that's what I was wondering. It seemed to me on first try that it was a small window to speak in too, but DJFire gave me hope that it is only the vocalist that gets cut off. I hope that's right, as that wouldn't be so bad.

    True, I did notice that. When in the menu and previews were playing the other end said they had pretty much no chance of hearing me.

    The singer can be heard during the song if they use the R2 button.
