what would that classify as, out of curiosity? And I hope that's the right song >_> Stupid work and stupid no speakers.
I'd call it rock music with some heavy synths? Don't know if I call it electronic music at all and the purists would burn you for calling it as such, I'm sure.

Liking music is one thing but calling an entire genre **** and generalizing rationalizes a good beating.

Well, balls. What would classify "pure" electronic music be then?

Man, I suck at music when it isn't rock XD
    Nope.

Stuff in the flash file I linked to, they have sound samples but you wouldn't know due to your work situation.

Oh, it does? Sweet. I'll check that out when I get home then.

My problem with electronic/synth-heavy music is kinda' like hip hop, only less. I HATE, well, I call it "techno" but I'm willing to bet I'm calling it wrong. http://www.homestarrunner.com/sbemail45.html Take that, make it much more high octane, and it irritates the HELL out of me. No idea what genre THAT would fall under, especially considering that's not even a real song XD But that turned me off to exploration of electronic music as well.

I suppose it's more pop/rock music with heavy synth influences I enjoy.

Anywhosen, it's lunch time, I will be back in about an hour.
    Nope.

Electronic Purists will kill you for using techno (or even electronica) to describe all electronic music. In fact that's kind of like calling all rock music... grunge? I guess.

    That's a somewat decent analogy, I think.
