I just told this to my dad and about how Zappa made the others look like a fool he laughed and told me about when Dee Snider testified to congress about the censorship of Albums and made a fool of them like Zappa did on crossfire

Yea , Dee's testimony was comic gold! Gold Jerry! Gold! It was every bit as good as Frank's was but for different reasons.

Especially since his music was attacked. This is the type of person they're trying to warn their children against and he proves himself more intelligent than them, haha.

lol yup. The actual testimony of Dee sometimes makes the rounds on you tube as well. Somwhere the transcript is posted as well.If I stumble across the links I'll post them. I remember talking to Dee about it one time and he was still so stunned that it was only himself Zappa and John Denver that turned up to defend rock music against the PMRC. it really is kind of weird that only those 3 guys turned up for it.
