Seriously, you're not the first person to ever say that, but it still amazes me that many people are as ignorant about music. People who like metal, and just metal or hard rock, think they're overrated because they didn't "ROCK MAN!".

For all the people who don't know, music wouldn't be music without the Beatles. All of your bands draw influences from the Beatles. I don't care who it is, they are influenced by the Beatles. "Helter Skelter" is the first real hard rock song and metal grew from that song. There will never EVER be a band as important to music as the Beatles.

While I agree with your sentiment, there is just so much wrong with the rest of your arguement that I don't even know where to start.

First, "Helter Skelter" was not the first "Hard Rock" song, there were a lot more rocking tunes that came out well before it. In fact, the song started off as a slow bluesy number until Pete Townshend (of The Who) derided The Beatles in an interview by saying that they couldn't keep up with groups like The Who and the Rolling Stones. In response Paul changed it to be more in the same style as The Who to try to one up Pete.

i've heard it's rumored to be in the range of 45 Beatles songs. I'm not sure if there will be other bands included in the game or not, but i tend to think not.

Okay, I get that you may not like The Beatles, but denying that they had any influence on music is beyond dumb and the misinformation in the quoted post just really strains the mind on where you got any of it from.

$250 for a bundle for a standalone game? In this economy? I can't see that being a big seller.

To be honest, I have a feeling the whole game won't be a big hit, but time will tell I guess...
